Following Passover (Jesus's crucifixion), Jesus Christ was in the ground three days and three nights rising on the Sabbath, when The Day of First Fruits began. Giving the first plump produce of the harvest in thanks, foreshadowing the first fruit of the resurrection - in Jesus. .

About the event

This is a time to give God "the first and best" of your harvest (time/income). Rejoicing in His provision. Through thanksgiving and sharing we acknowledge God as the source of all blessings. Speak aloud God's goodness, perhaps reciting scriptures of His miracles and wonders. The primary being Jesus' resurrection. Signifying hope for all believers. Focus on the promise of new life and triumph over sin. Give God the first hour of your day in prayer. Make a joyful offering to God from your harvest so that He will bless the rest of your produce. This is not only a loving kindness it's an act of faith, showing a profound trust in and dependence on Him.
